Chaos in Oshodi As Thugs/Cultists Go On Rampage.

There was chaos at Bolade area in Oshodi, Lagos this morning after two local cult groups went on rampage, destroying properties in the area. The cultists are reportedly fighting over the chairmanship of the Oshodi motorpark. The police are working to restore normalcy in the area. Arsenal Signs Nigerian Player Kelechi Nwakali for £2million


Kelechi Nwakakli has been in London for over a month trying to sort out a deal with Arsene Wenger's team. He has now put pen to paper after passing a club organized trial, with his academy Diamond Football Academy, set to receive over £2m as training and development fee.

His representative has confirmed the transfer of the 17 year old Under 17 World Cup star is a done deal and that the London club has agreed a 5-year contract with the Nigerian boy who was nominated for the 2015 CAF Youth player of the year.
‘Kelechi has signed a five-year deal with Arsenal,’ his agent Klay Ekeocha told Sports Day. ‘I won’t be able to mention the exact transfer fee but it is above £2m.’

The Nigeria Football Federation says they are ready to meet Sunday Oliseh in court after the ex-Super Eagles coach said he is meeting with his lawyers to discuss a legal move after claiming he is being owed salaries by the football body.

Sunday Oliseh resigned from his post on Social media on Friday and the NFF said they had paid him backlog of salaries totaling N20m on the 23rd of February through a Sterling Bank account before he resigned.
But Oliseh's lawyers gave the NFF 48 hours beginning from Monday to retract their comments or they would take them to court.

'The NFF is not bothered by such threats. He can go to court. Oliseh is not the only one who has lawyers. The NFF has a legal department and it is ready.'' Ademola Olajire, Head of Comunication  Department of the NFF said.

Seyi Sodimu Celebrates Daughter's Birthday By Feeding The Homeless

"I asked my daughter Tomi Simisola who is at school in George Washington University, what she wanted for her birthday because, this time it is special. It only comes once in four years, and I wanted to do something special for her. But she told me instead of a party, she wanted to feed the homeless and less priviledged. So we did. Police Hand Over Ese To Parents; Dad Says She’s Hypnotised,Taking HerTo TB Joshua


Police authorities in Abuja yesterday night said Ese Oruru, freed Monday, will now be officially handed over to her mother, Mrs. Oruru, today.

14 years old Ese Rita Oruru was brought to Police headquarters at Louis Edet House at about 12. 55pm amid tight police protection.Her dad, Mr Charles Oruru, however disclosed that he has concluded plans to seek spiritual assistance from Lagos cleric, Pastor T.B. Joshua, founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).

Ese would have been handed over to her mother yesterday, but for inability of the woman to arrive Abuja by 8.00p.m. last night as she travelled from Yenagoa, Bayelsa State by road.

She was immediately ushered into the office of the Force Public Relations Officer, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Olabisi Kolawole, for what sources said was a debriefing exercise.

Also arrested and brought to Abuja by a Special Police team from Zone 1 headquarters, Kano, led by an Assistant Commissioner of Police, was the abductor of Ese, Yunusa, alias Yellow.

Both the abductor and the abductee were escorted by three representatives of the Emir of Kano to brief the police authorities about the roles the Emir and Kano Emirate Council played in getting Ese released.

At exactly 1 25pm, the Force Public Relations Officer was seen leading the freed Ese Oruru to the office of the Inspector General of Police for further briefing.

Attempts by newsmen to talk with Ese were rebuffed as the FPRO assured that as soon as Ese’s mother, who was being expected from Bayelsa arrived, the Police will brief the media on the matter by 4 pm.

Recall that Ese was abducted by one Yinusa, from her mother’s shop in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State on August 12, 2015, and whisked away to Kano State without the consent of her parents. She was as rescued  Monday night, following a directive by the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, to the Commissioner of Police, Kano State, Mohammed Katsina, to liaise with the state’s Emirate Council and relevant persons in the state.
