The Beautiful Nollywood actress, Ireti Osayemi says she can never put on a skimpy outfit that would reveal her body on set. She said she was formerlly into modelling but she had to let go of it because her mum was not comfortable with it since the job will be calling for skimpy wears. She also said she loves being comfortable with whatever she wears.

University of Ibadan Expels 97 Students…

The University of Ibadan has expelled 97 students for extremely poor performance in their academics. PUNCH reports that the students failed to achieve the minimum requirement at the end of the 2015/16 academic session.

In a statement released by the university’s Registrar, Olujimi Olukoya, three of the students dropped out, while others affected were in different levels in seven different faculties. And this includes final year students.

“The Senate, at its meeting of Monday, February 1, 2016, approved that the candidates should withdraw from the university for failure to obtain the minimum academic requirements at the end of the 2014/2015 session,” the statement said.

However, the university has been ranked as the best in the country, with the University of Lagos coming second.


“Being number one in Nigeria and number one in West Africa should not be taken for granted,” the Vice-Chancellor of UI, Prof Abel Olayinka, said. “The real challenge is for us to be ranked among the top five in Africa in the next few years. This is possible given the pedigree of Ibadan over the last 68 years.”

FUTO Female Student Bites Off Fellow Student’s Nose During Fight

Two female Students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri‘s School Of Agricultural Technology (SAAT) three days ago got involved in a nasty fight that ended up with one of them biting the other’s nose off.

An eye witness confirmed that it started with a demand by one of them to fetch some water (for their work) but she objected with a vulgar response.

The girl who had her nose bitten allegedly launched the first attack by pulling the other girl’s hair. When the fight got heated, the affected girl’s nose was bitten off causing the right part to fall off. When other students noticed what had happened, they quickly looked for the fallen part but were unable to find it.

After the drama, the bleeding victim was rushed to the school clinic and immediately referred to the Federal Medical Centre Owerri, for proper and effective treatment and surgery and to help the bleeding. For bleeding to stop, the medical team at FMC had to cut some flesh from her laps.

The matter is still under strong investigation by the school authorities.

Terry G Survives Another Terrible Car Crash!

For the second time in 5 years, Nigerian pop star, Terry G will sing songs of praises for being alive to see yet another day. He was involved in a terrible car crash at about 6am this morning in Lagos.
The accident reportedly happened on his way back from a night club between the 1st and 2nd roundabout in Lekki, Lagos and his new Range Rover Sport is completely totalled.
This is similar to the kind of car crash he had 5 years ago when his car (a Toyota Camry) ran into a road demarcation around Chemiron, close to Sunday Market, in Ogba, Lagos. He is Reported to be okay with two other boys in the car, the only person that sustained minor injury is the guy that drived the car.

President Buhari, Says No N5000 Stipend For Unemployed Nigerians

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has said he won't be giving N5000 monthly stipend to unemployed Nigerians as it is been bandied around.
In a report by Nigerian Tribune, President Buhari disclosed that he has a different priority and approach to rewarding unemployed Nigerians other than to pay N5,000 monthly.

He was quoted to have made the remark in Saudi Arabia while he performed his lesser hajj before leaving for Doha in Qatar at about 3PM, Nigerian time.

The President reportedly said he would rather channel resources into the building of infrastructure, education, agriculture and mining to create employment opportunities for able bodied young men.

In his words, "This largesse N5,000 for the unemployed, I have got a slightly different priority. I would rather do the infrastructure, the school and correct them and empower agriculture, mining so that every able bodied person can go and get work instead of giving 5,000, N5,000 to those who don't work."

He said Ile-Ife is blessed with natural and mineral resources and endowed with tourist attractions, "and that is why I planned to use the sites to create wealth and improve infrastructure for Ile-Ife and the Yoruba land.

"Ile-Ife has a peculiar advantage because it is established in one of the world acclaimed centres and source of renowned world civilisation.

"The ancient town is one of the cities in sub-Sharan African with largest concentration of archaeological sites where both foreign and local archaeologists got objects like bronze, terracotta, precious stones and beads.''

The monarch urged all and sundry to be proud of their heritage and culture and to enlighten people about the difference between religion and culture.

According to him, foreigners love the Yoruba culture, citing Brazilians as speaking Yoruba language, while Cuba, among others, claim to be originally from Ile-Ife.

The Oba called on government and well meaningful Nigerians to collectively maintain peaceful coexistence in making Ile-Ife a tourist zone, so as to find another means of boosting the nation's economy.

If these two 'hawker beauties' were discovered less than 2 months apart, it means that beautiful girls that hawk commodities aren't in short supply in Lagos.

While people who finish with with a 5.0 CGPA are almost non existent! It took 54 years to produce the first one!

While Olajumoke and this other lady are rough stones that could be polished to achieve a lustrous shine, Ayodele is a true jewel, a rare yellow diamond in its truest and purest form.

Let's not let our 'poverty mentality', that makes things of lesser importance seem valuable, cloud our judgement. I have no objection to polishing stones to bring out their shine, but please let's not do it at the expense of gems of inestimable value!

The outcome of our future depends largely on 'what' or 'whom' we invest in. If Japan, Switzerland or America invested their time and money in pretty bread sellers, we won't have the brains behind their automotive, aeronautic, horological or financial achievements today.

I'm not saying we shouldn't celebrate Olajumoke o! Before people call me a hater but like hell we must celebrate Ayodele first! Just my thought on a Saturday evening~FRZ

Fake Policeman Who Bought Police Walkie-Talkie For N2,000 Was Arrested In Ketu, Lagos.

For two years, 45-year-old Dele Oduwole had operated as a fake traffic policeman around Ketu area of Lagos.

His specialty: arresting traffic offenders and extorting money from them.

Oduwole, who ran out of luck recently, said he and an accomplice had arrested a motorist at Ketu and impounded his vehicle before a suspicious policeman challenged them about their identities.

The suspect said he preferred to operate with just a walkie-talkie rather than putting on a fake police uniform.

According to him, he lost his job at the Agboyi Local Government secretariat, Lagos where he worked as an enforcement officer in the traffic unit about two years ago.

The suspect said he didn’t go to the extent of acquiring a police uniform in order not to draw too much attention.

Oduwole said, “After losing my job at the Agboyi Local Government secretariat, I realised that I had become good at arresting traffic offenders. So, I simply continued my work by telling people that I was a policeman in mufti.

“I realised that people respect policemen when they are holding a walkie-talkie. A friend told me where I could get the radio cheaply and I went there. I bought the walkie-talkie for N2,000 at Oshodi.

“The walkie-talkie does not even work. I swear it has never worked since I bought it. But for the period I used it, people obeyed me anytime I stopped a vehicle for any traffic offence. “I was actually helping the government. For example, the man we arrested before we were arrested was actually making a call while driving. That is a crime.”

Oduwole claimed that he had not used his fake police identity to commit any other crimes. But the police have said investigations are ongoing to determine if he had been involved in more grievous crimes while parading himself as a policeman.
